Anonymous sent: Hi! I love your cosplays! I had trouble finding a good video of your WCS Madoka performance but it looks amazing from what I could find :) can I ask how you made the bow foldable? Cheers

Hello! Thank you so much! So happy you liked our performance!

Basically a mdf (a type of wood) core was separated into three pieces with spring hinges..the rest of the bow was built up around this base with balsa wood and spray putty, and there were further springs added onto the branches. The whole thing folds down a bit like a ruler and was secured with a ribbon for onstage. When you pull the ribbon and flick the bow…it pops due to the springs pulling it open.

..I hope that helps and we’ll honestly try to get a video of it up or something in future!

Did a recent shoot in the snow with friends!
From the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb - Assassin’s Quest Skill Road Cosplay shoot

FitzChivalry Farseer - K, Queen Kettricken - J, The Fool - Aly, Starling - Blair and Nighteyes is Jen the Husky.

Hope you guys like these pictures as much as we enjoyed creating them! Making costumes using the descriptions of the characters from the novels, we wanted to bring to life some of our favourite characters and their story travelling along the Skill road in the Mountain Kingdom.

This was such a fun shoot and despite the blizzard, the photographers did an awesome job! So happy to be part of this!

Also…Robin Hobb shared our album on her FB page!! Aaaaahhhh!!! <3

Hi again! I’m still alive, just by the skin of my teeth 8’DI did a quick makeup test the other day for an upcoming shoot, Will Graham from NBC’S Hannibal! I’m a massive fan of this amazing series and Will is definitely my fav character from it. Not to mention I have the beautiful Cielrose as my darling cannibal <3Real people makeup is hard ;A; especially when trying to turn my flat features to remotely resemble Hugh Dancy’s perfection. Will post some crack shots tmw~

Just sharing some Elsa wip pictures from a while back! I started months ago but travelling overseas and constantly waiting for materials to come in have really put grinding halts in my progress…oh well..I’m very excited to finish this fairly soon! I’ve almost finished tiling sequins to the bodice..and then I’ll finally finish the cape which I plan to do by heatfix glitter vinyl.
I plan on finishing this for Supanova in Melbourne this April so I have some time yet to finish and fine tune everything!!
